Weekly letter v.13

Strange spring weather, but I'm happy anyway because the faculty just established guidelines for admission of excellent teachers. I will conclude this week of maintaining student-educational intersets and look forward to Easter next week.

Faculty Board - excellent teachers
On Tuesdaythe the Faculty Board decided about a document that regulates how excellent teachers are going to be appointed at the faculty. Furthermore, it was decided that a special committee are going to be appointed to handle the excellent teacher applications. A excellent teacher will receive the same pay increase as a presumed associate professor, which is SEK 2,000 in the current situation.

Visions about maintaining student educational intersts at SciTech faculty
On Monday there was a vision evening on Uthgård where some of UTN's board, management team and other interested discussed with members of the Uppsala Student Union how maintaining student educational intersts at SciTech faculty works today and should work in the future with the UTN's wish to become a formal student union.
