Course evaluation seminars
I attended a very giving seminar with the Division for Development of Teaching and Learning. Something very important is that we as students gets to see the results of the course evalutions from the previous year. If've you haven't heard of them talk to your teacher and point out the importance of presenting the results of the course evalutions and you can also point out the importance of writing course reports. The council of universitypedagogics of the faculty of science and technology has a two day meeting next week. We will discuss the pedagogical program of the faculty and, does anyone have any good ideas?


This weeks paragraph from The Swedish higher education act:
The operations of higher education institutions shall be arranged to ensure that high standards are attained in courses and study programmes as well as in research, and artistic research and development.

The resources available shall be used effectively to sustain a high standard of operation.
Quality assurance procedures are the shared concern of staff and students at higher education institutions. Ordinance (2000:260).

So it states in the law that we students should fill in the course evaluations ;)
Rembember to fill them in now after the examperiod, it is important to take the opportunity to affect our education to the better.
