Supplemental Instructions
KrUUt has started a series of seminares about how  active student participation and SI can be implemented in the ordinary education. SI is a great complement to ordinary education and I will work towards spreading SI at the faculty.

What is SI?
A additional optional educational method
SI-leader (senior student) and 5-15 SI-students in one group
Active student participation that themselves creates knowledge
Critical thinking and reflection over the accepted knowledge

What is SI not?
A compensation for the ordinary education

Order of employment
Uppsala university will have a new ordinance that handles employment at the university. A lot of discussion around pedagogical skill has taken place. Do you have any ideas about what a good teacher is and how to judge pedagogical skill, send me an e-mail to discuss it!

The course evalutaions is a tool to ensure the quality of our education and to improve them, so ANSWER THE COURSE EVALUTATIONS! The paragraph of the week from the Higher Education Ordinance
chapter 10 section 2
The disciplinary measures comprise warnings and suspension. A suspension decision means that the student is prohibited from participating in instruction, tests or other activities within the framework of the courses and study programmes at the higher education institution. The decision shall comprise one or more periods, but shall not exceed six months in total. A suspension decision may also be limited to apply to access to certain premises at the higher education institution.
