The Academic Rowing

Every year, Akademiska Hus (Academic Houses) organizes the Academic Rowing. Uppsala University competes against SLU in what university that can complete the 300 meter long stretch in the glittering water of the Fyris River, the fastest. 

The competition has two classes (staff and students) and no prior knowledge is needed. The teams are offered training and during the day of contest, a boat and a profesional navigator. When the day turnes to evening, there will be a dinner and an award ceremony. There is no entry fee to join. The teams should have some kind of affinity, for example students at the same program, same institution, student union or studet organization. 

The last two years, SLU has been the winner of the competition. Now it's time to win back the honor to Uppsala University! Of course YOU should join!
