Summary of board meeting 2016-08-31

August the 31st the board had a meeting focused on the union council: they discussed what proposals to put before the council, answer to motions and got a visit from the speaker of the council.

Because this was the last meeting before the last day to send in bills and answer to motions before the union council, much of this days meeting revolved around the union council. The speaker payed the board a visit in the beginning of the meeting, and together they discussion of to get an involved and knowledgeble council.

Then the board decided on an exact proposal for the tactical plan of operations and budget to send to the council. They also discussed to motions, one regarding a foundation that an old teacher at the SciTech-faculty wants to start, and another regarding membership in The Swedish National Union of Students.

The board moved on the questions regarding current operations and members involved in the organisation. The board discussed a discrimination survey that the Head of Student Wellfare is to send out next autumn, what to do about the vacant Polhacks presidium and an educational event for the sections.

At the end of the meeting, the board took the formal decision to lend money to an organisation to rebuild a registry website so that we can use it, and two smaller issues.
