Project to improve the teacher-training education

In a debate article the swedish Minister for Higher Education and Research writes that the goverment will endeavour to improve the result in swedish schools by investing in the teacher-training education at the universities. They want to improve the quality of teacher-training education and the first step will be to revise the placement studies. The government and Örebro Municipality have started a project with practice schools, so far six schools in Örebro have joined the project. The project will reslut in that the teacher-training students will have most of their placement studies at one school and the goal with these practice schools is to improve teacher-training students and researchers access to the everyday life od schools.
