Panel for equality in the academic world

The government will appoint a panel that are going to develop proposals for how the equality in the academic world can be improved. These proposals will then be taken into account when the government composes the goverment bill concerning research that will be released in 2016.

Even tough many efforts have been made to improve the equality in the academy, the government indentifies certain problems that can still remains so the minister for Higher Education and Research, Helene Hellmark Knutsson, are going to appoint a panel for equality in the academic world. This panel are going to develop hands-on proposals that the government will use when they compose the next big government bill concering research in the autumn of 2016. Within a year the panel will present their main proposals to the minister.
