No Busses Stops at Polacksbacken

Because of a troublesome speed bump the bus lines 1, 12, 20 and 21 will continue straight ahead at the roundabout at Grindstugan and then turn left to Ulleråker on Emmy Rappes väg, which means that the busses won't frequent the bus stop at Polacksbacken for now.

As of the 1rst of January the bus lines 1, 12, 20 and 21 will continue straight ahead in the roundabout at Grindstugan instead of turning left towards Polacksbacken. They will continue on Dag Hammarskjölds väg and then turn left on Emmy Rappes väg towards Ulleråker and then continue on their usual route from there. This means that no bus will frequent the bus stops Polacksbacken, Lundellska skolan and Uppsala folkhögskola.

According to UNT this new route is the consequence of a newly built speed bump between the roundabout at Grindstugan and Regementesvägen is too sharp and the busses have a hard time driving over the bump. The municipality will fix the problem with the speed bump as soon as they can, but for now you have to take a walk from the bus stop Grindstugan (or the temporary one at Emmy Rappes väg) if you want to travel to Polacksbacken by bus.
