"A coffee for your opinion" is a project that the student union is running to get student opinions on current issues. During week 39 the student union was out on campus serving coffee (and candy) to students who responded to three short questions. The theme for this round was working related issues in the education and we were wondering about how well students know their carreer opportunities, how well they think their education prepares them for working life and what they would like to see more of in their education regarding this area.
721 students from different sections and different levels responded to the survey.
What we can see is that many student feel that their education is preparing them for working life in a good way. Something interesting is that the numbers for how well students know their carreer opportunities is lower. Maybe it could be a development to hear more about professional roles in education?
Internships and study visits were something many students would like to see more of. Also guest lectures from companies was a popular choice.
We thank all respondents and hope that you and everyone else wants to help us again next time!
