Conferences and workshops in Germany, U4

Uppsala university did in 2008 start a partnership with three other universities in Europe and is named the U4-university network. Now there is a chance for our master and phd students to apply for funding to visit workshops and conferences in Germany! Last day to apply is the 15th of October!

Funding is also available for publications: this includes funding for joint publications, for instance in the form of conference volumes, or PhD theses emerging from joint supervision at University of Göttingen and one other U4 partner.

Are you interested in what U4 is? This is some short information from their website:
U4 is a strategic partnership between Ghent University (B), the University of Göttingen (D), the University of Groningen (NL), and Uppsala University (S). The U4 network stands for a preferential partnership in international projects and for joint initiatives in higher education, research and institutional management.
