Summary of Board Meeting 20141001

During the board meeting we did a lot of preparation for the announcement of several officials. We approved the commission descriptions and position descriptions for the fully remunerated posts Head of Corporate Relations and Head of Festivities and also discussed those documents for the Student Liaison Officers. A commission description describes the task to be done, while the position description describes what the official post means, such as rights and obligations. This October, two Student Liaison Officers will be announced, focused on Labour Market Affairs and International Affairs. In addition to the fully remunerated posts we’re also looking for a vice project manager for the career fair Utnarm and Head of Prep teachers (responsible for the Prep math course). You can submit your application before October 22 on register.utn.se.

We also elected a number of student representatives, Gabriella Elvin and Håkan Lundstedt was elected deputies of the Educational board of engineering and Sakari Teerikoski was elected member of the Educational board of science. Congratulations! There are still a number of student representative posts left to apply for, to be a student representative is very educative and will give you an understanding of how the faculty and the university works.
