A coffee for your opinion - Work related activities

During lunch time the entire week the Student Union will be out on campus asking students about their experience with work related activities in the education. If you answer our questions we will give you a free cup of coffee.

Work related activities in the education are important for making students feel prepared for the working life after the studies. These activities also make students get a better insight into being an engineer or scientist, give inspiration to studying and also help providing strong competitive students on the job market which in turn strengthens the University's brand

During all lunches in week 39 the Student Union will be at Ångström, handing out coffee to those who respond to three short questions about work related activities. On Wednesday, we are also at Geocentrum and on Thursday at EBC. It will also be possible to submit a response and get coffee at Uthgård (Of course it is only one answer/person).

The questions we will ask are:

  • How well do you know the carrier opportunities after your studies?
How much have you, for example, been able to meet people working in your industry, hear about career options, etc?

  • How well do you think your education prepare you for working life?
How much have you, for example, got to go on field trips, try working in large projects, solved a real work related problem, etc?

  • What would you like to see more of in your education?
Is there some activities that you don't think occurs often enough in your education? Maybe not at all? Is there activities that you think that you are getting enough of or are there activities that you are not even interested in?

Talk to us in a blue UTN hoodie if you want to influence your education!
