Cooperation between the universities and the labour market is now an issue raised in the education policy debate. The Moderates, a swedish political party, suggest that some of the financial support given to education should be prioritized to those schools that create valuable relationships with the industry. The reason why the issue is raised is both that many students have difficulties finding the right job and that many industries have difficulties to find the right competence.
