On Thursday February 13, the traditional Celsius-Linné lectures will be held at the Ångström Laboratory, Siegbahnsalen:

15.30: Paleofantasy: What Our Evolutionary Past Really Tells Us about Modern Life

On Friday February 14, the multi-disciplinary Celsius-Linné symposium Principles of Evolution will take place 09:30 – 15:00 at the Evolutionary Biology Centre, Ekmansalen.
Principles of Evolution features several lecturers from a wide range of subjects and disciplines, presenting varying and challenging perspectives on evolution.
What are the similarities and differences between evolution in the physical and life sciences, humanities, and the social sciences?
A concluding discussion will offer opportunities for audience participation.
Coffee and cake will be served in the Museum of Evolution after the symposium.
