UTN's Pedagogical Award

Are your teacher awesome? Do you want to give your teacher a slightly higher chance to be promoted to an excellent teacher? Now you have the chance to nominate your teacher to this year's pedagogical award and give a valuble encouragment to contiuous work within educational development.

Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students each year award a teacher that is working at the Faculty of Science and Technology that is an especially good teacher.

Nomination

Nominate HERE!

All students within the Faculty of Science and Technology can nominate a teacher that they think fulfilles the criteria. All teaching staff at the faculty may be nominated.

A nomination should be written and contain a clear motivation to why the nominated teacher should be awarded the prize. Amongst others, the following criteria should be considered:

  • Efforts in pedagogical development
  • Treatment of students, availability beyond teaching hours
  • Clarifying the relevance of the course for education, and development of the course
  • Other pedagogical qualities

Only nominations with the names of the person who nominates are valid. 

The chance to nominate a teachers ends at the 11th of February, so hurry up to send in your nomination. You nominate by answering the form above or by sending your nomination to me at utb [at] utn.se
