Student coordinator for home town ambassadors

You are interested in marketing and have knowledge in project management. You have a large contact net among the students at the faculty for Engineering and Science Students. As a person you are organized and flexible, you have an interest to interact with other people. You are social and outgoing and like to hold oral presentations. Placement: Office for Science and Engineering, the unit for SciTech collaboration (Ångström laboratory)

Extent: 10 % 1 October – 31 December, 30 % 1 January 2014 – 31 May

Task: To organize and marked the facultys home town ambassador programme and support the facultys personnel responsible for recruitment with for example student staffing, presentations at visits among other things. You will also work with the University day, hold a presentation and handle student staffing for the day. You will be responsible to coordinate a group with PR-students from the different programmes and update the material the home town ambassadors take with them during their travels. You have also the responsibility to document and evaluate your work and you are sounding board for the personnel at the student service unit and SciTech cooperation in other student related questions and activities.
