Weekly news v.41

Weekly news from head of academic affairs, week 41.

Hello!

Here are the weekly news about UTN:s work with maintaining student-educational interests. This time a short letter, uploaded very late on internet.

Course evaluation events

Many student sections will at the beginning of the next period arrange some form of course evaluation event. Often by offering refreshments to those who fill out evaluations during a lunch. This week I gathered a bunch of presidents of the student councils to discuss how we can help each other with marketing.

TUR

Last Thursday to Friday the Faculty of Science and Technology's pedagogic committee (TUR) had a two days meeting to discuss pedagogic development. For example we talked about the didctic research at IT and physics department and about implementation of TekNats new educational programs. We talked a lot about the students' responsibility for their learning and approach to educational development. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Next week

Committee meeting for the presidents of the student councils

I definitely look forward to next week's committee meeting! On Monday, it's time for an entire meeting to discuss course evaluations. I hope that all participants have received notice!

NU2012

By the end of next week I will be difficult to find at Uthgård. Together with the the head of labour market affairs Tove I'm going to Gothenburg at national educational conferences. My predecessor Fredrik will talk at theconferens, teh subjct is active student participation. Fredrik is very interested at the subject SI, supplements instructors. I think he will be glad if ou ask him more about that! Anyway, do not forget that good student initatives can influence a lot and go a long way! To give a presentation at a conference of several hundred pedagogy interested people is something I think is cool!

Have a week 42, best whishes from
