Boardmeeting 3 maj

After a fantastic week filled with a lot of fun; Forsfestival, Forsränning and amazing weather on May Day has come to end, the best was still to come. Board meeting! The Board's vision before the fiscal year 2011/2012 was to always laugh at least once on each board meeting. And so we did it last Thursday. Have never seen so much noise and laughter!

Now you might think that you shouldn’t laugh when you make important decisions for such a great organization as UTN but afterwards it was probably just better! You can ask our two interns, Lotta and David from the Board 2012/2013 who was with us to watch and learn, if you do not believe me!

It all started when our dear President sent the vocation and agenda 19 hours and 14 minutes for the meeting would take place. According to a different vision, that results in that he brings coffee to the next meeting. Imagine our surprise when we get into the Trellipsen on Uthgård and coffee is already there. Remains to see what happens next week...

During the meeting the Board decided to launch the presiding committee och the Ball Committee and the Rafting Committee as well as the Treasurer of the Pub Crew. You can read more about it here: http://www.utn.se/en/om/utlyst

Also, a big congratulations to Moa Eriksson who was elected as Head of the Master Committee and Hannes Lindstrand as Deputy Master Commander!

Activity plans and budget is something that all presiding committee must do for the activity to be conducted and these is submitted to the Board for feedback. We had no fewer than four of them to go through; Utnarm Committee, Math and computer Prep education Committee, the Puzzle Hunt Committee and the Committee for the Preparatory Programme in Science and Engineering.

And the conclusion of the meeting were further a vision, to always group hug the last thing we do!
