A new and exciting meeting took place with UTNs Board on April 18. Not only was the current board there but also the newly elected board there to watch and learn. Next year will be spectacular.

During the meeting some decisions were made about Uppstuks statutes and recruitment profiles. We also got to appoint the Puzzel Hunt Committee presiding committee. It will be a lovely autumn with the Puzzel Hunt Rally. If you never tried the Puzzel Hunt Rally you should, I promise you wont regret it.

Other issues that emerged during the meeting was how Lanka (LAN-kå/LANkå) must spell their names to be in unity with other committees and Swedish writing rules. Before I was involved in the UTN, I could laugh when ever I saw these types of decisions, but after a year in UTNs board and a year as Information Officer before that, I really understod the importance of having rules within the organization. It will become neat and tidy and also more understandable what the various policy documents and guidelines really mean. Now maybe the name is not the main problem but always nice and good to have order.


After many decisions and then reviews of how we in the board worked during this year (to show for the newly elected), mostly diskusion about the student Union arose, then we ended it all with the usual group hug. Always so nice.
