The jury's citation reads:

UTN's pedagogical award winner makes use of modern as well as traditional teaching methods to overcome pedagogically difficult situations. By holding active discussions both in class and on forum pages, she has managed to develop courses to straighten questionmarks, not only from the current course, but also from past issues in education. Her courses have improved significantly in recent years and become more understandable and intuitive, which shows a strong development capability and passion to put students at the center. After her course you go home not only with a full understanding of the laws of thermodynamics, you go home with a friend - Lisa Freyhult.

Fredrik Härlin, Head of Academic Affiars at Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students aslo Chairman of the jury said:

- At the Faculty of Science and Technology there are many good teachers, which made  the jury's job difficult. The reason the jury decided on was how the winner always is available to answer questions from students as well as her ability to use different teaching methods in teaching.

Questions is answered by Fredrik Härlin, Head of Academic Affairs at Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students.
