Summary of board meeting 2011-11-09

Last Wednesday it was time for the Board to meet again. While valiant X-students made the final preparations for the Biotechnology days in the Eriksson hall the Board met in Trellipsen. There was a discussion of business plans, whether or not to buy a new printer and a little bit about the content of sugar in yogurt.

Two business plans, from Jubelkå and reception of new engineering students, were discussed during the meeting.
The Board thought about, by request of Jubelkå, what UTN could wish for Jubilee. I would also like to take the opportunity to tell you that Jubelkå are welcome to ideas from all members: say what you think UTN's anniversary should look like!

It may feel like it's a long time before the reception next year, but since UTN:s reception involves so many people and activities you have to start planning now. When you think about it, it's very cool that there are so many students who want to be a part of it, and together they do so much for the new students.

UTN's membership renewal is now complete and the mandates in UTN's council between sections have changed. The Board will present the new distribution of mandates and UTN:s council will determine it in early December. Now it only remains to see which section wins the prestigious cake contest!

The Board thinks it is time for UTN to buy a new printer, and why not take the opportunity to allow the printing of posters on Uthgård. Imagine what it would facilitate to sections and committees.

Det var det,

Jen
