Summary from last meeting of the council

The meeting was opened at 6:30pm by speaker of the council ViktorBengtsson. During the announcements UTN's inspector, Ulf Danielsson, announced his resignation. This early resignation was due tohis appointment as deptuy Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Science and Technology, an office which would be inappropriate to combine with being the inspector of UTN.

The meeting continued with a minor change to the investment- and maintenance plan (IU-planen), the document regulating the longterm maintenance of Uthgård and UTN's other physical assets. The change was made because the grinding of the floors at Uthgård this summer proved to be more expensive than what was previously expected. 

The next item on the agenda was the tactical activity plan, TVP, for the coming year, a document that describes what UTN shall do during the coming year. The board had prepared a proposal that was passed after a long discussion and resulted in a few changes. Along with the activity plan a budget was also passed.

At the end of the meeting some elections were held. The council got a deputy speaker and the Election Committee got two new members as well as a delegation to appoint an Assistant Editor in Chief of UTN's union magazine Techna.
