Report from board meeting 2011-09-15

The third board meeting of the semester was held 2011-09-15. This is a short resumé. The board elected four new officials and job descriptions for the River rafting committee and the orientation committee for Engineering and Computer Science students.

Action plans and budgets

The board has received and gone thorugh action plans and budgets for Rallykå -- the committee in charge of arranging the annual puzzle hunt -- and the Pub Crew. The Pub Crew has big plans for theme pubs and a bigger project during the fall. 

Elections

The board elected four new officials; project manager (Stefan Carlsson) and deputy project manager with financial responsibilities (Joakim Ejenstam) of the Lan Committee, a new chair of the photo group (Kenneth Gustavsson) and a new system administrator (Amardeep Metha). 

Discussions

During the meeting the board discussed a number of different subjects, including crisis management of the board and helping Techna with articles for future issues. UTN haven't had a emergency plan for dealing with sickness or loss among the board members and the board decided to write a short summary of responsibilities to be taken over by the rest of the board if one of the board members would disappear.
