In the new government budget bill, the government proposes that 50 million SEK is provided for scholarships for international students. This is an increase with over 6o percent!
From the current academic year, students from outside EU/EES and Switzerland, hav had to pay for their studies here in Sweden. This has resulted in a low number of international students all over the country.
The Swedish Minister of Education and Science, Jan Björklund, mean that the quality oon our educations are increased by the great international students that come here, where scholarships are a great way to attract them.
