Microwave ovens at Ångström

As some of you noticed, one of the rooms with microwaves at Ångström has been removed. You can read more about the situation in this article.

Many student has been in contact with UTN regarding the lunch situation at Ångström. The lunch room is about to become a big server hall for a big project called UPPMAX. Over 30 minutes queue to the micro-waves is of course unacceptable, buts that is the result of removing the lunch room.

UTN has been in contact with Bengt, who is manager at Ångström and ITC. He told us that a solution is on the way. There will be new micro-waves in the two lunch rooms in house 4 & 6. Today only one side of the room is used, but in the future there will be micro-waves on both sides of the room. A temporary solution is micro-waves at house 2, floor 1. They will be put in place during next week.

UTN is glad that the staff at Ångsröm is taking the issue seriously but we disappointed that the lunch room was removed before there was any solution put in place.
