Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students awards Magnus Jacobsson

Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students (UTN) gives Magnus Jacobsson at the institution of mathematics their pedagogical award. He gets the award based on his ability to create a unique contact at his lectures.

Each year a person on the faculty of Science and Technology is given a pedagogical award from the Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science Students (UTN). The person should have demonstrated both excellent teaching skills as a strong commitment for the students. The winner is awarded with tickets to the prom that UTN is arranging at Uppsala Caste the 26th of March.

The jury states:

He has through his pedagogical skills managed to create memorable lectures in which he in an easy and playful way has guided the students through the world of mathematics. His ability to explain the same phenomenon in different ways have been highly appreciated by students aswell as the ability to create a constructive dialogue at the lectures. His ambitions to develop the teaching at the Department of Mathematics is also a contributing factor for UTN to award Magnus Jacobsson with their pedagocial prize.
