In Uppsala Union of Engineering and Science there are many ongoing projects with students who possess many different skills. To gather people working in the same area, there are a number of standing committees working as a platform for sections to discuss similar issues such as education and student welfare issues. In the standing committees the representatives can help each other, share experiences and find opportunities for collaboration. The standing committees also work like a link between the the sections and UTN, where members of the UTN management team can discuss issues and gain support for opinions among students. There are also councils working similar as the standing committees, but there are also councils not including section representatives but students working with similar tasks in UTN's committees and workgroups.
